Fire and Flood restoration

FIRE AND SMOKE DAMAGE
Damage due to fire and smoke need not be permanent. MacFawn Enterprises technicians can restore the structure and furnishings and save your valuable items.

MacFawn Enterprises restoration work begins with a careful survey of the damage and an analysis of the cleaning and restoration needs. Room by room our experienced team of professionals will properly clean and deodorize furnishings and return everything to its place. This includes upholstered furniture, carpets, drapes and contents.

In most cases limited smoke damage is removed quickly and efficiently on location allowing the customer to remain on the premises.

Smoke behavior is very unique and that factor affects the complexity of the fire loss. MacFawn specialists determine the type of smoke and proceed with cleaning accordingly to minimize damage.

The restoration process is effected by the type of smoke

  • Wet Smoke: a pungent odor, sticky, smeary and more difficult to clean
  • Dry Smoke: fast burning and high in temperature
  • Protein: also has a pungent odor and discolors paints and varnishes

FLOOD DAMAGE

MacFawn Professionals use the most advanced methods available in flood restoration technology for floors, carpets, ceilings and furnishings.

MacFawn fire and flood technicians use industrial grade dehumidifiers to reduce moisture levels that are not reduced through extraction.

DRYING TECHNIQUES

High Speed Fans are used to evaporate moisture by creating airflow across floors, walls and furniture.

If MacFawn Fire and Flood Professionals are called quickly, then drying tools can control humidity and temperature; reducing mitigation of walls, floors and furniture.

Disinfection and deodorization products are then used to eliminate odors and any harmful micro organisms.
